Can you provide a brief introduction about yourself and CHEMPLAST?
After graduating from university, I entered the chemical industry and eventually founded our chemical company, which today holds a strong position in the sector. Since its establishment, our company has held a significant share in both domestic and international markets. The idea of founding CHEMPLAST dates back 10 years and arose from a need—a gap in the industry. Initially, we started producing industrial packaging in-house to meet our own requirements. The high demand and interest we observed during this period led to the creation of the CHEMPLAST brand and our entry into the industrial packaging sector. Today, with our state-of-the-art and extensive machinery park, we produce packaging according to international standards, serving companies in the chemical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, textile, paint, and food industries. Our goal is to provide internationally standardized packaging for high value-added products, ensuring that our customers can safely deliver their products worldwide. Our world-class production is carried out at our 12,000 m² integrated packaging facility in Tekirdağ, certified under the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. From our factory, we deliver products with the highest quality standards to all of Thrace and Europe, and from our 6,000 m² warehouse in Istanbul Kıraç, we serve domestic and international customers, especially in the Marmara region, quickly and safely.

Can you tell us about the sectors you serve and the variety of your products?
With our high-quality products developed in our laboratory, we continuously introduce innovative solutions to the plastic industrial packaging sector. Our products, including bag-in-drums and banded drums, provide superior protection even under the toughest conditions thanks to their high strength and robust locking mechanisms, preserving the contents effectively. In our CHEMPLAST laboratory, equipped with state-of-the-art devices, we conduct tests to monitor the resistance, durability, containment, and leak-proof properties of our products. In addition, we leverage our long-standing experience in the chemical sector to enhance the safety and reliability of the products we manufacture. Therefore, we produce plastic packaging in compliance with all required national and international certifications. Our products are manufactured according to TSE standards and UN certification. The vent system, designed for transporting and storing aggressive and special chemicals, ensures safe and careful protection of the materials inside. We are the first in Turkey to use 4-layer Co-Ex packaging technology, providing superior preservation and durability while preventing permeability in our 1, 3, 4, 5, and 10-liter packages. For HDPE packaging, we produce bag-in-drums and banded drums ranging from 5 liters to 220 liters, carefully meeting diverse industrial packaging needs safely and efficiently.

Could you share information about your recent projects?
In addition to our 120-liter and 150-liter banded drums, we designed a 170-liter banded drum, previously unavailable in the market, helping our export customers and the industry reduce high shipping costs. Furthermore, we have started producing 220-liter banded drums. Soon, we will launch 1-liter HDPE and Co-Ex packaging production. Thanks to our Co-Ex technology, we will begin producing high value-added packaging that enables safe transport and storage of volatile chemicals, especially agricultural chemicals. We will continue to invest in our products and services in the coming period.

What innovations will you introduce to the industry in the near future?
At CHEMPLAST, we place great importance on R&D and Quality, making significant investments in these areas. Before launching production lines in our factory, we established our laboratory. We sourced all necessary machines and equipment both domestically and internationally, allowing us to conduct all tests on plastic packaging in-house. This enables us to ensure that our products comply to the highest degree with national and international standards. Additionally, to address one of the biggest challenges in the industry—problems occurring during product shipment—we developed a transport simulator.

In the laboratory, we identify potential risks that could occur during shipment and take preventive measures during the production process, aiming to increase customer satisfaction.
